Jon W.

Jon W., a Texan, focuses on scalping small cap stocks. His edge comes from targeting day-three surges or news-driven gap-ups, entering on pullbacks to 20/40 EMA support with high volume, and shorting pump and dumps flagged by dilution signals. He passed the $25,000 FLEX evaluation in just four days!

He uses tight stops below support to avoid wicks, aims for 1:3 risk-reward, exits at high-of-day breaks or resistance, and relies on being more active in the market to spot repeatable patterns like “double traps” to complement his edge.

Tip 1

Learning Through Observation

I put in the work. I spend at least four hours a day just watching the market, read a lot of books, reading and joining chat rooms, you know, and just seeing how the pros do it. Just a lot of sitting back, watching and listening.

Tip 2

Using EMAs for Entries

I normally wait for the 40 EMA support. If it's going to have a good move through the whole day, I've found a lot of them consolidate along the 40 EMA. And then if they start pulling up from that with volume, then that's when I'll get in.
