Daniel B.
Daniel’s trading journey began during the Covid lockdowns, starting with significant losses, but quickly adapting to find his niche in short selling. His approach got better through self-education via books, YouTube, and community interactions, leading him to focus greatly on shorting small-caps.
He specializes in spotting “rug pulls” in small-cap stocks, utilizing simple moving averages (20, 50, 100 SMA) and VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) to identify when a stock is likely to drop after a significant run-up. His strategy involves quick, decisive trades, scaling in and out to capitalize on rapid declines.
Tip 1
How he passed the evaluation
Test the VWAP. You know it's starting to lose it when you see that rug pulling. Get in, take your profit, don't be greedy, get out. Next, if it keeps rug pulling, get back in. I got in 3 or 4 times on that same ticker, and it gave me 5 or 6 good profits. Scalping in and out, in and out.Tip 2
Exploring his $FBRX trades
It was up 200 percent for the day. It was starting to lose volume. Saw it starting to halt with these massive green candles. Most of the time, you wait for it to un-halt and see what happens. If it starts to go the other way, it's going to hit everyone’s sells or stop losses, causing it to rug pull even harder. That's what I live for. You know, I love it.
